ONE GOAL...IMPROVE OUR COMMUNITY FOR EVERY RESIDENT
Hi, my name is Danielle Storey and I’m running to be your Kent County Commissioner because we need fresh leadership in our local government. My partner Chad and I are lifelong residents of the City of Walker, and graduates of Kenowa Hills Public Schools. We’re proud to be raising two hockey-playing girls here, Madison (a sophomore) and Taylor (eighth grade).
Along with my work as Post-Closing Specialist for a local title company, I’ve always maintained an active role in the school district and community. I currently serve on the Kenowa Hills Public Schools Board of Education and as a Kenowa Hills Education Foundation Trustee. In addition to public experience, I was president of the PTO, coached Girls on the Run, managed HAWK hockey teams, and volunteer with Feeding Walker Kids.
My goal is always to improve our community for every resident. I’ll bring this perspective to serve you as your Kent County Commissioner, working on the local issues that matter most. Our county must ensure equitable access to high-quality early childhood education, improve mental and public health supports, expand our parks and green spaces, reduce landfill waste, and protect our water. I would be honored to earn your vote, and hope you’ll contact me with your ideas to improve Kent County.
